Community Gardens are one of Unidos long-range goals is to help with the overall availability of healthy food for families. These gardens can also provide instruction to families to how they can grow their own healthy fresh vegetables. These instructions and experiences also help provide fresh produce for families at a minimal cost. Our first community garden was started in 2015 at Indian Avenue school and the links for the various press releases well describe how the school, families and Unidos all are working together.
